Ovarian Cancer Treatment in Hyderabad
Women’s reproductive system carries two ovaries, one on either side of the uterus. They are both attached to the womb and are situated low in the pelvis. The ovaries are tiny organs that aid in developing eggs or ova. They are about the size of an almond. Progesterone and estrogen are also produced by it.
Only 20% of individuals with ovarian cancer have received a diagnosis when the disease is still in its early stages. There are better chances for the treatment to be effective if detection occurs in the early stages when the disease is isolated to the ovary.
However, ovarian cancer typically only becomes apparent when it has spread to the pelvis and abdomen and is at an advanced stage. Regular check up with a gynecologist is very essential specially if there is a family history of ovarian or breast cancers.
Cervical Cancer Treatment
The uterine cervix is the lowest part of the uterus that joins the vagina with the uterus. The cervix contains several different types of cells. The human papillomavirus, known as HPV, is a sexually transmitted disease that frequently leads to cervical cancer in females. This is the only preventable cancer as it has a vaccine, the cervical cancer vaccine is best administered to all teenage girls before the first expose of sex, it is effective upto 35 years of age beyond which it has limited use. We advise all women to undergo pap smear testing to help prevent cervical cancer.
Uterine Cancer Treatment
Uterine cancer is the most typical cancer that impacts a woman’s reproductive system. A mass or tumor, which can be benign or malignant, is created when healthy uterine cells develop unnaturally and uncontrollably. The cancer cells may enter other bodily organs if the tumor is malignant. A benign tumor, on the other hand, has no impact on the neighboring tissues. All womenspecially post menopausal women should visit their gynecologist for any abnormal or heavy bleeding and have a pelvic ultrasound done, based on the reports we may advise hysteroscopic biopsy to diagnose any abnormal growth in the uterine cavity.
